Biographical Note
I hold a degree in Biological Sciences (UFSCar, 1995), an M.Sc. (1999) and a Ph.D. (2003) in Ecology and Natural Resources from UFSCar, including a doctoral internship at the Natural Resources Institute, University of Manitoba (Canada). My research lies at the intersection of Ethnoecology, Environmental Education, and Socio-environmental Studies, with emphasis on traditional ecological knowledge, community-based management, environmental conflicts, and environmental justice. I am an Associate Professor at Unimontes, faculty member of PPGDS and PPGBurn, head of LEAEH, and member of NIISA, SBEE, and the Teia Solidária da Pesca.
