Anthropologist and historian. He studied in the former USSR, where he obtained a master's degree in History and Social Sciences. He carried out research in indigenous areas of Central America, and from 2004 to 2010 a Study on the Impact of Tourism among the Guna of Panama. Developed studies that have received several international awards, such as FITUR 2007, National Geographic 2007, and the Gabriel Escarrer International Tourism Studies Award 2011. He developed field studies on Reproduction and Sustainable Autonomy of the Guna, and those results are part of the doctoral thesis in Natural Resources and Sustainability at the University of Córdoba (Spain).
