Doctoral student at the Graduate Program in Music (2021) at the State University of Santa Catarina (PPGMUS/UDESC). Cecília M Pinheiro Machado has a Master's Degree in Music from the Postgraduate Program in Music of the State University of Santa Catarina (PPGMUS / UDESC, 2013). Undergraduated in Music Education (2010) by the same university. She is a member of the Research and Studies Group Inventa Music Education (Coordinated by Prof. Dra. Viviane Beineke). Part of the Protagonist Childhoods Network: migration, art, education, led by Prof. Dr. Luciana Hartmann (UnB). She has already worked as a supervisior in the Postgraduate Course "Teaching in Elementary Education" at the Federal University of Santa Catarina CEDEI / UFSC (2016) and as a online tutor by UAB / MEC, at the Federal University of São Carlos-SP (UFSCar), in the courses of Music Education and Pedagogy, in which she worked in the disciplines: Production of Didactic Material for Music Education and Language and Arts I (2011-2014). She has worked in private schools, both primary and elementary education in 2009, 2013, and from 2019 to 2021. Taught a short music course for Early Childhood Education teachers in the city of Florianópolis in 2019. Has worked also as professor in the Music Education undergraduate course at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), on a temporary contract, from 2021.2 to 2023.1 and 2014 to 2017, teaching the discipline Music Didactics and supervising students teaching in school (Elementary, Secondary and High School) and non-school settings of Music Education.
