Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Coimbra. Her current research interests focus on design process in architecture, relation between humans and built environment and collaborations between architecture and anthropology. She studied the production of landscape images in the Coa Valley Archaeological Park, in the Portuguese landscape architecture, in contemporary art photography exhibitions and in scientific expeditions to the Portuguese colonies in Africa. She co-organized Intersecções: Antropologia e Arquitectura (2011) and Leprosaria Nacional: Modernidade e Ruína no Hospital-Colónia Rovisco Pais (2013).
