Biographical Note

Catarina Alfaia was born in Lisbon in 1984. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences (FCSH–NOVA University of Lisbon, 2006) and a master degree in Communication, Culture and Information Technologies (ISCTE–IUL, 2012). She began her professional career as a journalist and joined the auction house VERITAS in 2012. In 2022, she co-coordinated, with Adelaide Duarte (IHA–NOVA University of Lisbon), the book “Diálogos de Colecionar”, including 22 talks with Portuguese Art Collectors.
