Catarina Santos has a degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures from the University of Lisbon and a Master's in Applied Cultural Analysis from Lund, Sweden. She is currently a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and NOVA University Lisbon (FCSH), with a focus on offshore wind energy. She is also volunteer at the Advisory Committee on Protection of the Sea (ACOPS), an NGO dedicated to the sustainable use of the seas through sound science and the Law of the Sea.
